There’s always a trend they say, but why don’t we make our own? Makes it fun and not too hostile for the artistic who always dare to be different.

You don’t follow a trend, fad or uso, but you TRUST YOUR TASTE. Isn’t that your art already? How you perceive and interpret yourself with the different tangible materials on hand is your version. That’s fashion.

Let’s not put it in a box and strangle the spectrum that is fashion! I’ll begin with mine-
Sigaw Celine! (Shout Celine)!
After joining the SAGIP Fashion Show by UPMed-PGH, my interest for local designers has skyrocketed! Blessings just keep on coming as I’ve been privileged to sit down, listen and watch in awe how dynamic yet humble they can be when sharing thoughts about their craft- from their day jobs to weekend rendezvous with the raw materials they work on for the pretty pieces we see in public. I know it’s been said and done, but let’s support them! Their campaigns and collections make up an important backbone in our culture. Let them bloom! For 2012, my Sigaw Celine would be my constant reminder to continuously search for the budding artists and introduce myself to what I’ve missed out on. It’s never too late, right?

To me, what’s in, is being a fan of Filipino Fashion.

I leave you with this lovely shoe from GAUPO perfectly called BLISS. It’s exactly what I’m feeling right now just by looking at it. T-straps have caught my eye these past weeks, and there will be more and MORE to come. haha
Come up with your trends guys! I would love to hear from you. :)

I’m a day late, but I’ve got time to appreciate now.
From her name to her style, there’s absolutely nothing I don’t fancy about Charlize Theron. The dress, hair and makeup all look light and elegant. It’s something women want to achieve and experience. Look effortlessly beautiful- literally and figuratively.
Rooney Mara caught my eye. I’ve never seen any of her works yet, but her ensemble has made me think twice. It’s her age- not over the top but young and classy.
I love love Sofia Vergara’s hair! I remember Jessica Alba having the same hair color. Being sun-kissed, it gives me an idea how to better style my hair. Can’t wait to have longer hair!
