Finally, it’s in my hands! @mophie @joinRED
Won’t deny how I absolutely maximize my unlimited data plan, and this of course, makes my battery suffer. I had to do “timing” whenever I’m using my iPhone especially when there’s no socket or usb port nearby.
And then I found out about mophie.
It was one thing to be crazy functional, as it is an external battery AND a casing for your iPhones. One switch of a button and my ailing phone will be back to life. It was all and more.
In my own little way (literally), I had been given the power,
the choice to save lives.
Along with being very vocal about the beauty of my culture and the deep admiration I have for Filipino artists and designers, I wholeheartedly support the different ways in getting messages across regarding world issues. There is good in that medium of 140 characters. I found this.
Who has time to immerse in all of these things completely? I honestly can’t keep up. I want to, but I can’t. Somehow, it frustrates me that physically I can’t be where others have extended their hand and gained the most humbling experiences textbooks will never teach you about reaching out.
But I tell myself there are other ways, I can still help, and this is one of them.
Through these campaigns, we don’t realize that aside from the happiness we get from purchasing something of our interest, a life is getting better. Out there, we’re making someone see the beauty in things. With this, we make our brothers and sisters in need believe, hope and smile- display that irreplaceable expression because someone on the other side of the world, cares.
You did that. You made a move.

If you know of any similar campaigns, give me a shout out! ♥
Educate me! I would love to keep in touch with those who find joy in little things. I’m at that age where I know I can do more, and I’m happy that mophie gave me a good reason to choose them after thinking about the lunch money I missed out on for a few days. lol
Let’s all be on the hunt for that IT item not because it’s the latest and comes in limited quantity but plays as a medium to help those in need, one day, smile freely!

Never talked back. Didn’t have a mind of its own.
Was it a better choice?
Unresponsive. Stoic. Flat.
Resounding laughter chosen, shared at the most unfit and untimely places.
Carefree attitude caused silly jokes and curses.
Definitely 好き that than the totally not dynamic stance
Ten fingers. Would the worthy be more than that or not?

There’s always a trend they say, but why don’t we make our own? Makes it fun and not too hostile for the artistic who always dare to be different.
You don’t follow a trend, fad or uso, but you TRUST YOUR TASTE. Isn’t that your art already? How you perceive and interpret yourself with the different tangible materials on hand is your version. That’s fashion.
Let’s not put it in a box and strangle the spectrum that is fashion! I’ll begin with mine-
Sigaw Celine! (Shout Celine)!
After joining the SAGIP Fashion Show by UPMed-PGH, my interest for local designers has skyrocketed! Blessings just keep on coming as I’ve been privileged to sit down, listen and watch in awe how dynamic yet humble they can be when sharing thoughts about their craft- from their day jobs to weekend rendezvous with the raw materials they work on for the pretty pieces we see in public. I know it’s been said and done, but let’s support them! Their campaigns and collections make up an important backbone in our culture. Let them bloom! For 2012, my Sigaw Celine would be my constant reminder to continuously search for the budding artists and introduce myself to what I’ve missed out on. It’s never too late, right?
To me, what’s in, is being a fan of Filipino Fashion.
I leave you with this lovely shoe from GAUPO perfectly called BLISS. It’s exactly what I’m feeling right now just by looking at it. T-straps have caught my eye these past weeks, and there will be more and MORE to come. haha
Come up with your trends guys! I would love to hear from you. :)
